A man and a woman have been arrested and charged after RCMP recovered a pickup stolen from a commercial lot in Carbonear on the weekend.
Harbour Grace RCMP say video surveillance helped to identify two suspects and a tip led officers to Shearstown where the truck was found.
Fifty-four-year old Brent Jackson was arrested on charges of vehicle theft, driving while prohibited, break and enter, possession of stolen property and failing to comply with a release order.
A 41-year-old woman was arrested and released on conditions to appear in court in March on two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, and a charge of failing to comply with a probation order.
