The Constabulary is seeking information from the public on a recent collision in the capital city. The RNC tried to pull a vehicle over on Oxen Pond Road last Friday afternoon, but instead of stopping, it sped away – striking two vehicles in the Freshwater Road and Stamp’s Lane intersection.

The driver, 27-year-old Zephani Scott of Ontario tried to run away on foot, but was eventually arrested and charged with flight from police, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, resisting arrest and dangerous driving.

RNC are now seeking any witnesses or video footage of a white Hyundai Sonata in the lead-up to, or immediately following the crash. The vehicle bore the NL license plate number JWW 814.
