Metro police had their hands full yesterday dealing with reports of shoplifting.
The first call came in yesterday evening around 7:50 from a store on Kelsey Drive. Security told officers a man had left the store without paying for his items.
The 31-year-old was located in the area and arrested in charged of theft, resisting arrest and breach of release order.
About an hour later, a business on Lemarchant Road phoned police to report a theft.
The suspect allegedly walked out with merchandise that was not paid for.
The 29-year-old man was located nearby and charged with theft and breach of release order.
