The Auditor General will deliver her report today on the former Liberal government’s transitional housing initiative at Horizons 106.
The controversial project began in January 2024, with the then-Liberal government entering into a $21-million three year lease to use the former Comfort Inn for transitional housing.
Denise Hanrahan’s report will look at whether the contracts for the initiative were procured and managed properly, and whether there was sufficient oversight.
Hanrahan will speak with reporters about the report today at 3 p.m.
VOCM News will be there.
