Those using the trails in and around Whitbourne may notice an increased police presence as RCMP officers fan out on ATVs to enforce off-road regulations.
Officers from the Placentia and Whitbourne detachments will be watching for things like helmet and seatbelt use, young people driving without proper supervision, excessive speed and ATVs driving in areas where they are not supposed to be.
