A man is facing a charge typically unheard of after an incident on a St. John’s walking trail yesterday afternoon.
Officers got word of a suspicious person on a centre city trail just after 3:30. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the 67-year-old had threatened to do harm to an animal.
He was arrested and charged with uttering threats to kill an animal, causing a disturbance, breach of probation and breach of release order.
