Heat warnings are lighting up the map like a cruise ship in Atlantic Canada – the exception being this province.

Environment Canada has warnings out for all of Nova Scotia and P.E.I. and most of New Brunswick.

Temperatures in the Maritimes are expected to be in the 30s over the next couple of days, with the humidex making it feel closer to 40.

It’s almost the exact opposite for parts of Newfoundland with temperatures on the Avalon and parts of central in the mid-to-high teens for the next couple of days.

Parts of the south and west coasts and Labrador will see temperatures in the low-to-mid-twenties.
