Some barbecue utensils distributed throughout Canada have been recalled by the federal government.
Cuisinart metal wire bristle grill brushes can fragment and stick to the food or grill. If ingested, even one of those bristles can end up requiring surgery.
As of August 26, the company, Crate and Barrel Canada, had not received any reports of injury.
Consumers should quit using the items immediately, and contact the company by calling 1-800-451-8217 for a full refund.
