Members of the German Army are in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and may soon be moving about town.

5 Wing Goose Bay says the soldiers have been isolating since coming to the province, and tomorrow that isolation period will be ending.

They say there are no COVID cases within the group and they now may move around town during their off-hours.

The soldiers are in the town as part of yearly training that takes place in the fall and winter.

5 Wing Goose Bay assures civilians that army personnel will be following public health recommendations at all times.
