A 21-year-old man has been charged after he was found to be going 56 km/h over the speed limit in Corner Brook.
Shortly before 3:30 yesterday afternoon, police noticed the driver passing other vehicles on the Lewin Parkway and clocked him at 116 km/h in the 60 km/h zone.
The man has been charged for going more than 51 km/h over the posted limit. His license was suspended, and his vehicle was impounded.
