A hit and run collision in west-end St. John’s yesterday morning just after 11, has led to the arrest of a 47-year-old man. After a brief investigation, the RNC located the driver, who now faces charges of impaired, refusal, and resisting arrest. He was also ticketed for failing to stop at the scene of an accident. Police impounded his vehicle and he now has a future court date.
And the suspect in a short shop-lifting spree is now in custody. The RNC got a call yesterday around 5 pm about theft from a business in St. John’s.
