Premier Andrew Furey will be speaking at the kickoff to NATI’s Innovation Week this morning.
The innovation week lineup was announced last Friday as one of three projects the association is undertaking—the other two being Bounce 2.0 and the Business Tech Solutions Program.
The province is providing $488,000 to NATI over the next three years to help fund such projects.
The event was supposed to take place in May but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Now, the event will take place in the form of a number of virtual sessions, including a keynote address from Bethany Downer, the first scientist-astronaut candidate from Atlantic Canada.
Innovation week kicks off this morning at 9:30 a.m. at Canadian AV in St. John’s and runs until Thursday
