The annual ArtsNL Arts Awards ceremony will go ahead this year – albeit a bit later than usual.

The event was cancelled in the spring due to COVID-19, but a celebration, in compliance with recommendations and guidelines set by Public Health officials will go ahead on Tuesday, December 1st at the LSPU Hall in St. John’s.

Artists will be recognized in a variety of categories including Artists’ Achievement, Arts in Education, the CBC Emerging Artist award, and Artist of the Year.

Bernice Morgan will be inducted into the ArtsNL Hall of Honour while David Hood is being recognized as Patron of the Arts.
