A woman is in custody after attacking a police officer with her shoes.
The incident unfolded in the area of Thorburn Road in St. John’s at about 7:00 last night.
The RNC were responding to reports of a disturbance when one of the persons involved, a 38-year-old woman, began hitting an officer with her shoes.
She was held to appear in court this morning.
