The Trudeau Liberals hold a healthy lead over the Conservatives in a new poll released this week by Abacus Data.
The nationwide survey gives the Liberals 38 per cent among decided voters, nine points better than the Conservatives led by Erin O’Toole. In fact, the Liberals lead in every part of the country except the Prairies.
The poll also tapped into the issues Canadians feel are most important, and found that the Liberals were almost 20 points ahead when it comes to having a plan to deal with the pandemic. However, the Conservatives held a slight lead for Canadians who feel the economy matters most.
The survey polled almost 1,700 adults from November 6 to 12. It’s considered accurate within 2.5 percentage points 19 times out of 20.
