Rotational workers have fewer options today than pre-pandemic times when it comes to flights but an airline based in Gander is thinking about stepping in to help.

Air Canada discontinued services to Gander earlier this week and temporarily suspended its Toronto-St.John’s route.

EVAS Air President and CEO Pat White says his heart goes out to turnaround workers who have to leave the province for work and end up in places Like Halifax for long periods of time.

They’re reaching out to workers and companies, but one possibility would be a round trip between Halifax, Stephenville, Deer Lake, Gander and St. John’s.
