Elections NL has decided to keep the special ballot office in Carbonear open for in-person voting.

Earlier today it was announced that the office would be closed after numerous complaints were received from one of the parties regarding the proximity of the office to the constituency office of the current member for the district.

However, after meeting with the parties involved, what’s described as a “satisfactory resolution” was reached, allowing the office to stay open.
