The two sides in the labour dispute in Grand Falls-Windsor remain at an impasse.
The town locked union members out on July 15 after nine months of unsuccessful negotiations.
The town issued a release on Tuesday indicating that the two sides have once again reached an impasse after talks resumed July 26.
The town says while both sides reached agreement on several issues after three days of negotiations, numerous issues remain outstanding, including group insurance premiums, job postings, job descriptions, job classifications and technological changes.
The town says it presented another offer to CUPE Local 1349 on July 28 that included consultation and input on all the outstanding issues, but the union has yet to respond.
Mayor Barry Manuel says he’s disappointed that the two sides remain far apart.
