A 19-year-old St. John’s man has been arrested after police noticed a vehicle doing donuts in the area of Waterford Valley High in St. John’s late last night.
The RNC say officers responded to a report of erratic driving in the area of the high school shortly after 10:00 last night.
A patrol officer noticed the vehicle, which had been doing stunting manoeuvers, parked near the school.
It was later confirmed that not only was the driver of the vehicle using a suspended licence, he was also wanted on a warrant issued by the RCMP.
The teen was arrested on the warrant and ticketed for stunting and operating a vehicle while suspended. The vehicle was impounded and the accused held in custody pending a court appearance.
