More than 85 per cent of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians over the age of 12 have their first COVID vaccine dose and more than 65 per cent have their second.

A person is considered to be fully vaccinated once two weeks have passed after their second dose of vaccine is administered.

Premier Andrew Furey tweeted the news on Friday, offering his thanks to those who have stepped up “to do their part to combat the spread of COVID-19.”
