Police are investigating an apparent firebombing of a former tattoo studio in downtown St. John’s early this morning.
Fire crews and the RNC responded to the call around 3 a.m.
They arrived to find what’s being described as a minor fire at 116 Duckworth Street, the former home of Hooligan’s tattoo studio.
A front window pane of the building had apparently been smashed by a Molotov cocktail.
A source tells VOCM News that the business, attached to others on both sides, closed during the height of the pandemic.
The building has been vacant ever since.
