The 25th annual “Run the Rock” campaign kicks off in Port aux Basque tomorrow.
Crewmembers of the HMCS St. John’s will run over 900 kilometers across Newfoundland in order to raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The campaign is aiming to raise enough money to grant 10 critically ill children their wishes. It has raised over one million dollars since its launch in 1996.
Crewmembers of the HMCS St. John’s will be at the Tim Hortons and Foodland in Port aux Basque today raising funds. Those who wish to donate can do so online.
