More than a week after Hurricane Larry destroyed a portion of the highway at St. Vincent’s, the road is finally open to one lane of traffic.
The portion of road (route 90) was inundated by sea swells that also caused extensive damage in the area of North Harbour and Harricott in St. Mary’s Bay.
Crews have been on the scene in St. Vincent’s for over a week effecting repairs.
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure tweeted out the update earlier today.
