Despite the challenges of gatherings during the pandemic, engines were able to rev up over the weekend for the annual Ride For Dad.
The ride, now in its 15th year, raises awareness and funds for prostate cancer.
In total, 120 riders travelled through the metro region for the event, raising over $55,000.
Co-chair Kristine Hamlyn says they were wondering how the pandemic would affect the turnout, but organizers were impressed with how the event unfolded.
“It’s nothing to sneeze at,” says Hamlyn, who notes they are happy with the results.
