The early long-range weather forecast for Sunday is calling for clear skies and a high of eight degrees. That’s a big day for a couple of reasons: Trick or treating and the Tely Ten.
Thousands of runners will hit the asphalt in Paradise at 8 a.m. and wind their way through metro to the finish line at Bannerman Park. One of the big changes is the location of race-kit pickup. Instead of the RE/MAX Centre, kits have to be picked up at the Royal Canadian Legion in Pleasantville.
Race director Randy Doyle says they needed a lot more volunteers this year than in the past because of COVID-19.
It was a pretty simple process in the past with participants just going into the building and getting their kits but now each person has to be scanned.
VOCM is a sponsor of the Tely Ten.
