A 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with an incident on Fitzgerald Place in St. John’s Tuesday evening that sent a woman to hospital.
The RNC were called to the scene after a woman was struck by a vehicle. The woman was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries and released.
The accused and the alleged victim were not believed to be known to each other.
The accused is facing a charge of assault with a weapon. He’s been released to appear in court at a later date.
