Registration is now open for a virtual town hall to collect public input on a new provincial Moose Management Plan.

People will be asked to provide their thoughts and opinions on a variety of moose and wildlife management issues.

The annual provincial moose hunt is one of the most popular recreational pursuits in Newfoundland and Labrador, with just over 92,000 moose license applications received each year.

The virtual event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 17th via Webex.

Those interested in participating must pre-register by email at MooseTownHall@gov.nl.ca.
