Newfoundlander Alex Newhook is officially on the board.
Newhook netted his first career regular season goal last night, rifling a one-timer past Sharks goaltender Adin Hill.

He scored his first career goal in last year’s playoff matchup against the Blues, however playoff stats are recorded separately than regular season stats, making this his first official NHL goal . After a brief stint in the AHL, Newhook now has two points in three games this season.
His parents were in attendance for last night’s game.
