The public gallery will be reopened to limited capacity during this evening’s regular St. John’s city council meeting.
It’s the first time the public gallery has been open since COVID restrictions were first imposed.
Nine spaces have been identified for public seating, including eight spaces in the gallery and one accessible space on the main floor. Those in attendance must wear masks and exercise physical distancing.
Because attendance at municipal meetings is considered a public service, the city will not require attendees to present the NL Vax Pass.
City council meetings are also live streamed on the city’s website.
