A man who was reported to police as a suspected impaired driver is now facing additional consequences.
RCMP Bay Roberts got the call just before suppertime Tuesday, locating the vehicle near North River.
The 51-year-old failed the roadside breath test and resisted arrest.
More officers had to be called in, and the suspect was taken in without incident.
The man was released from custody, but not before being charged with drunk driving and resisting arrest.
