It looks like summer bookings for the Strait of Belle Isle ferry will rebound this year.

Labrador Marine Inc says summer travel is expected to return to normal on the crossings, with bookings for the Qajaq W and tour bus companies returning to pre-pandemic levels.

The organization says a typical summer crossing sees around 250 people and 75 vehicles board the vessel.

The summer schedule starts June 19 and continues until September 13.
