A 72-year-old woman is dead following a collision between a tractor-trailer and an SUV on the TCH near Robinsons.
According to the RCMP, the crash occurred shortly after 9:00 this morning near the Robinson’s River bridge.
Police say the woman, who was the lone occupant of the SUV, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.
A traffic analyst with the RCMP attended the scene and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been notified.
The investigation is continuing.
