A grocery delivery company based in metro which was borne out of the pandemic is broadening its focus to enable people across the island to access Costco more easily and cheaply.
The Big Feed Club and DRL Coachlines have teamed up to ship products from Costco to bus stops from St. John’s to Port aux Basques for pickup by customers.
Bradley Russell, the co-founder of the club, and Jason Roberts, owner of DRL, say that in a time of rising food prices and supply chain disruption, the partnership couldn’t be more timely.
Russell says people can now access Costco through their service without having to buy a membership or visit the physical location.
He says they have delivered over 45,000 items in their 16 months of operation. They will be packed carefully and perishables will be specially protected with dry ice.
