CUPE Local 2099, which is embroiled in a strike with the City of Mount Pearl, has decided not to picket at Campia Gymnastics.
The union sent a letter to Campia and the City indicating that they have decided not to picket at the site out of concern for the safety of the general public and their members.
The union offered its apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank Campia patrons for their patience as the union tries to get the city back to the bargaining table.
