People are beginning to wonder if we’ll get some decent spring weather before we get into June.
It has been cold and wet, especially on the Avalon Peninsula, the past while. Today is no different with temperatures in the single digits or low double digits right across the island.
Parts of the west coast could have a small amount of snow overnight tonight, then things start to improve as Saturday winds down.
Meteorologist Wanda Batten says that doesn’t mean the end of the poor weather though.
“We’re watching a system which is making its way into the island late Sunday and early Monday,” she says. “There are different models but it could be messy.”
