The Eating Disorder Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador is getting a financial boost from the provincial government to the tune of $82,000.
The not-for-profit organization is dedicated to promoting research and providing public support services and information.
EDF-NL provides community support including client consultation, health care provider education, emotion-focused family therapy, and support for family members of those living with an eating disorder.
Last year, more than 700 people availed of the organization’s services.
