A 65-year-old man was arrested and charged with impaired after the vehicle he was driving went over an embankment and into a ditch near Black Duck Siding, just outside Stephenville Crossing, Tuesday evening.
The driver was not injured but RCMP say he showed signs of impairment and confirmed that he had been drinking. He failed a roadside test, then failed the test at the detachment.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in February.
