The on-street overnight parking ban comes into effect tonight in St. John’s.
Vehicles are not allowed to be parked on the street between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. in the downtown, and from 12:30 to 7:30 in areas outside the downtown core – regardless of the forecast.
Tickets will be issued to vehicles parked on the street during those times and any vehicle impeding snow clearing could be removed and impounded at the owner’s expense.
