A man who did not seem to mind drawing attention to himself on the highway as sparks were flying from a trailer he was towing has been taken off the road.
The 40-year-old, whose license was under suspension indefinitely, was driving a truck on Pitts Memorial Highway late in the afternoon when the RNC stopped him. A spring leaf on the unit was dragging on the pavement, causing the fiery show.
Officers seized the truck and ticketed the man for driving with a suspended license.
