RCMP say the Trans Canada eastbound near Ocean Pond has reopened after a tractor trailer tipped over across the highway.
Traffic is now moving once again, however drivers should be mindful of the high winds and use caution.

Both eastbound lanes of the Trans Canada near Ocean Pond are shut down due to an overturned tractor trailer.
The eastbound portion of the divided highway is closed between the Veteran’s Memorial turnoff and Mackinsons.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted onto the highway to Trinity Bay South (Route 80), and then across the New Harbour Barrens to the Veteran’s Memorial where they can join back up with the TCH.
