The Trans Canada Highway will remain closed in both directions until at least tomorrow after a tractor trailer crash that has caused damage to the South West River Bridge just east of Port Blandford.
A detour is in place as a result of the collision.
Reports indicate that the driver is not hurt, but the bridge has been damaged as a result.
Drivers are being directed onto the Bonavista Highway to Musgravetown where they can loop around to rejoin the TCH.
