A 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an incident Friday night that triggered a shelter-in-place in the Cochrane Pond Park area.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary was called to Riverside Drive West in the Goulds after a man reportedly entered a home with a weapon, demanded cash and a vehicle, and fled the scene.
There were no injuries.
