A 23-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon after a bear spray incident in Grand Falls-Windsor.

Police responded Sunday evening.

The victim was taken to hospital after being assaulted with bear spray.

RCMP say the incident was isolated in nature with no risk to the public.

The suspect was arrested and released on strict conditions to appear in court March 18th.
