There were no injuries, but a home on Ocean View Drive in L’Anse au Clair was heavily damaged by fire last night.
RCMP in Forteau say the call came in just before 11:00 p.m.
The L’Anse au Clair volunteer fire department extinguished the blaze but not before it caused extensive damage to the home.
The Fire Commissioner’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
Police are asking anyone with video footage from the Ocean View Drive area around the time of the fire to give them a call at 709-931-2790.
