Health Canada has recalled a steam cleaner which can rupture, posing a risk of serious injury or burn to the user or bystanders.

It’s the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner, a lightweight, portable device. It’s a compact. cube-shaped device model number DUP020WNA. Only units of the steam cleaner bearing the batch/date numbers 0118-01 through 0425-05 are impacted by the recall.

As of January 20, the company had received 15 reports of boiler ruptures, including four reports of minor bruises, burns, lacerations, and a broken wrist as well as several reports of property damage.
