A 50-year-old man, who was already suspended from driving, has been charged after he failed to pull over for Clarenville RCMP near Bunyan’s Cove Monday evening.
RCMP say the man, who was known to be suspended from driving, was spotted by officers on patrol in the area.
When they tried to pull the man’s vehicle over, he sped away.
The vehicle was followed to a nearby home and the driver was taken into custody without incident.
He’s been released on conditions to appear in court on charges of flight from police, and failing to comply with a probation order.
