A teenager is facing a raft of charges after fleeing the scene of a crash in Botwood last weekend.
RCMP were called to a hit and run collision between two vehicles on Military Road in Botwood around 10:00 Saturday night.
Police say one of the drivers left the scene without checking to see if there were any injuries, and without exchanging information with the other driver.
Police found the suspect vehicle off the road nearby and the driver was found shortly after midnight at a home in Peterview. RCMP say the 18-year-old has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of an accident, driving while prohibited, failing to comply with an undertaking, driving without insurance, and driving an unregistered vehicle.
