A 35-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman have been arrested following a drug and contraband tobacco seizure in the capital city.
Members of the RNC’s Weapons and Drug Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle in the Brookfield Road area shortly after 8:00 a.m. yesterday.
Officers seized a quantity of pills including OxyContin, Percocet, and Ritalin as well as 50 cartons (amounting to 500 packages) of cigarettes and a pair of brass knuckles.
The investigation is ongoing.
