A 42-year-old man will have to huff it for the next little while after RNC impounded his vehicle.
Officers flashed the lights on the vehicle while patrolling the area of Old Placentia Road in Mount Pearl around 7:45 yesterday morning.
A background check by police showed that the driver owed about $4,700 in outstanding fines.
He was issued additional tickets for driving with a suspended licence and failing to transfer ownership of the vehicle.
The vehicle was taken to the impound lot.
