RNC had to call in the canine to help track down the suspect of an armed robbery in downtown St. John’s last night.
Police were called around 8:30 p.m. after a man took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
With help from the K-9 Unit, the 24-year-old suspect was located and arrested.
He was held for court.
